Elemental Herbs Beauty Tints

You know one of my pet peeves? Reformulation. It goes like this: you find the perfect shampoo/perfume/lipstick shade and BAM they change the ingredients and it works/feels/looks different.

I've had that trouble with my former flame Alba Terra Tints. For some reason, every time I spot it in the store they have a new ingredients listing. And sometimes it's less than ideal. Problem is, I love my tinted SPF balm. I don't use chemical sunscreens, so it's gotta be a mineral UV shield. But without using nanoparticles it's tough to find a mineral based sunscreen that doesn't leave your lips white. My solution is to grab something tinted.

So I decided to find something else that fit the bill. Luckily for me, Elemental Herbs just came out with All Good Lips. It's a line of balms tinted with minerals sporting an SPF of 18 (that's better than Alba's SPF of 8). The ingredients are beautiful. Elemental Herbs uses olive oil, which is known to have some sun protective qualities. The formula also includes calendula, which also has UV protective qualities and wound healing properties.

It glides on smoothly without any of the chalkiness I experienced with Alba. And it's even certified organic. My favorite color for my skin tone is maroon creek. Have you tried any of their new shades yet?
