Look What I Did

I made a bold move the other day. I took out the trash.

I don't advocate throwing all your personal care products out at once (even though this pile of rubbish felt so good to kick to the curb). A slow transition to safer cosmetics will prevent impulse purchases, and buyer's remorse. But my transition has evolved to the point where everything in this bag has been replaced with products that are both safer and work better. These old bottles had begun to gather dust, so I thought I'd set them free.

In the new year, will you be doing any of your own out with the old and in with the new cleansing?

  1. Congratulations! I agree you shouldn't throw out everything at once because it is too expensive to replace everything, but it's great to get rid of stuff that you don't use anymore.

  2. I just had to do that before I could replace everything because it turns out that I'm allergic to alcohol, and everything contains alcohol. I have to read every single label to make sure there's no alcohol in it, or sls, or anything else that's yucky. Though, my hair looks great now that I'm doing the vinegar rinse, it's great.

  3. Thanks so much for the support, Mary! It feels great to cleanse excess like this for the new year.

I'm glad you like the vinegar rinse, Morna. It seems to make everyone's hair just shine!
