Vapour Organic Beauty Solid Perfume Review

If you've been reading this blog for any amount of time at all, you know that I bash on fragrance a lot here. I'm a little harsh. Which is why I need to express my support for a perfume that I can actually get behind. Enter Vapour Organic Beauty.

Vapour seeks to create a beauty line with a conscience. They are committed to using as many pure ingredients as possible, their packaging is recycled and recyclable, and they are passionate about giving back. Vapour is a makeup line with stellar ingredients from their lip glosses to their concealers.

Vapour's new fragrance, X Wisb* N°1, is a solid perfume. I find that this makes it incredibly easy to apply. It's no longer necessary to spritz the middle of the room and walk through the resulting perfume cloud, hoping the fragrance lands exactly where you want it on you. Vapour uses only all natural oils, extracts and essences, instead of synthetic fragrance. N°1 contains shea butter and pomegranite oil, so it glides on smooth with a touch of moisturizing power.

Going green with your beauty regimen doesn't mean you have to give up wearing an intoxicating scent when you go out on the town. N°1 contains all safe ingredients, most of which are organic or eco-certified.

N°1 was designed in partnership with fashion designer Hassan Pierre. It flaunts the scent of Haitian Vetivert, which has a "unique darkly sweet floral quality that emerges on top of a seductive woody green base." Now, I'm the type of girl who doesn't mind scents like vanilla frosting and cinnamon buns, but I have friends who prefer not to smell like baked goods. If you gravitate towards something more sophisticated, this exotic spicy perfume is for you.

Purchasing this product even supports a good cause. Vapour donates 50% of the purchase price to the Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti, a cause worth supporting.

I was sent this product for an honest and candid review, though in no way did it alter my opinion of the product. I was not compensated monetarily for this post.

  3. Some shade loving plants which can be grown indoor can reduce indoor air pollution. Plants by virtue of their ability to photosynthesize can absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen so make the air suitable to breathe in by human beings. Plants by transpiration give off extra water as water vapour which provides coolness and increase humidity in the surrounding environment.
